Budyukin's flying juji

In recent posts, I have highlighted flying jujis from the likes of France's Loic Pietri and Japan's Tomoo Torii. I've also noted that the flying juji first became famous through the Russians. Here's a remarkable clip by Russia's Vitaly Budyukin from the 1989 Belgrade World Championships.

As with Pietri's and Torii's flying juji's, Budyukin's technique didn't manage to secure an armlock either. But it's still fascinating to watch.

Vitaly Budyukin's flying juji-gatame attempt fails but you can't help but marvel at the height he achieves.
